Journey Itinerary
Arrival in Haridwar → Barkot
Haridwar to Barkot
210 km | 7-8 hours driveArrive in Haridwar by train or flight. After your arrival, drive to Barkot (Approx. 210 km, 7-8 hours drive).

Overnight Stay:
Barkot - a small town in the Yamuna Valley with beautiful landscapes to rest after your travel.
Barkot → Yamunotri → Barkot
Yamunotri Temple
45 km drive + 6 km trek
Activities:
- Early morning drive to Janki Chatti (about 45 km)
- Trek (6 km) or use a pony to reach the Yamunotri Temple
- Visit the Yamunotri Temple, take a dip in the Yamuna River, and perform the rituals
- Visit the hot springs near the temple
Overnight Stay:
Return to Barkot for the night.
Barkot → Uttarkashi (Gangotri)

Overnight Stay:
Uttarkashi. You can visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi in the evening if time allows.
Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Uttarkashi
Gangotri Temple
100 km round trip
Activities:
- Drive to Gangotri early in the morning
- Visit the Gangotri Temple, perform rituals, and take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River
- Explore the serene surroundings or visit Gaumukh (source of the Ganges) if you're up for the trek
Overnight Stay:
Return to Uttarkashi for the night.
Uttarkashi → Guptkashi
Guptkashi
240 km | 8-10 hours driveRoute: Uttarkashi → Tehri → Chamba → Guptkashi

Overnight Stay:
Guptkashi - a scenic town. You can visit the Ardhnarishwar Temple or Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the evening.
Guptkashi → Kedarnath
Kedarnath Temple
30 km drive + 16 km trek
Activities:
- Early morning drive to Sonprayag (2-3 hours)
- Trek (16 km) or take a pony ride to Kedarnath
- Visit the Kedarnath Temple and spend time meditating or resting by the Kedarnath Glacier
Overnight Stay:
Kedarnath (Stay in basic accommodation or tents available).
Kedarnath → Guptkashi
Return Journey
16 km trek + 30 km driveTrek back from Kedarnath to Sonprayag and then drive back to Guptkashi.

Overnight Stay:
Guptkashi. Take it easy after the trek, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Guptkashi → Badrinath
Badrinath Temple
190 km | 7-8 hours driveRoute: Guptkashi → Srinagar → Rudraprayag → Joshimath → Badrinath

Overnight Stay:
Badrinath. Relax in the serene atmosphere. You can visit the Tapt Kund (hot springs) in the evening.
Badrinath → Rudraprayag
Badrinath to Rudraprayag
160 km | 6-7 hours drive
Activities:
- Early morning visit to the Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu
- Take a dip in the Tapt Kund and perform your rituals
- Explore Mana Village, the last village before Tibet
Overnight Stay:
Rudraprayag - a confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Visit the Rudranath Temple.
Rudraprayag → Haridwar
Return to Haridwar
160 km | 6-7 hours driveRoute: Rudraprayag → Srinagar → Rishikesh → Haridwar

Departure:
After reaching Haridwar, you can either continue your journey back home or explore the Har Ki Pauri ghat, take a dip in the holy Ganges, and attend the Ganga Aarti in the evening.
