Itinerary
Day 01 :
Arrival in Bhopal – Local Sightseeing
Arrive in Bhopal (Airport/Railway Station) and transfer to hotel
Welcome drink and check-in
After lunch, proceed for local sightseeing:
- Taj-ul-Masajid – One of the largest mosques in India
- Upper Lake (Bhojtal) – Enjoy boating or a lakeside walk
- Van Vihar National Park – Evening wildlife safari (optional)
Dinner at the hotel/local restaurant
Overnight stay in Bhopal
Day 02 :
Sanchi Stupa or Bhimbetka Excursion
Option 1 – Heritage Tour (Recommended):
Breakfast at the hotel
Day trip to Sanchi Stupa (approx. 45 km)
- Explore UNESCO World Heritage Buddhist monuments
- Visit Sanchi Museum and Ashoka Pillar
Option 2 – Prehistoric Adventure:
Day trip to Bhimbetka Rock Shelters & Bhojpur Temple
- Explore prehistoric cave paintings (over 30,000 years old)
- Visit Bhojeshwar Mahadev Temple with a massive Shiva lingam
Return to Bhopal by evening
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel
Day 03 :
Museum Tour & Departure
Breakfast at the hotel
Checkout and local sightseeing (as per departure time):
- State Tribal Museum – Vibrant tribal culture and life
- Birla Mandir or Moti Masjid
- Shopping at local bazaars for Zardozi, Chanderi, or Bhopali Batua
Transfer to railway station/airport for departure
