Day 01 :
Arrival in Amritsar – Drive to Dharamshala (210 km / approx. 5 hrs)

Welcome to Punjab! Arrive at Amritsar Airport, meet our representative, and drive to the scenic hill town of Dharamshala – home to the Tibetan Government-in-exile and a major center of Buddhist spirituality.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax.

Evening Activities:

  • Visit the Kotwali Bazaar, a vibrant market offering traditional Kangra art, woodwork, tribal jewelry, and even a 1.5 million-year-old fossil of an elephant’s tooth.
  • Unwind in Dharamshala's charming café culture. Must-visit cafes include Illiterati Café, Shiva Café, Namgyal Café, and Joyful Café – perfect for great food, coffee, and Instagram-worthy views.

Dinner & Overnight Stay in Dharamshala.

Day 02 :
Dharamshala Sightseeing – Drive to Dalhousie (92 km / approx. 4 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and explore key attractions in Dharamshala:

  • Dal Lake: A serene spot surrounded by deodar trees, located en route to McLeod Ganj.
  • HPCA Cricket Stadium: One of the world’s most picturesque stadiums, nestled amidst the Himalayas.
  • Gyuto Monastery: A major center for Tantric learning under the Gelug order. Peaceful, scenic, and spiritually uplifting.

Later, drive to Dalhousie, a beautiful colonial-era town set in the Dhauladhar range.

Evening at Leisure:

  • Take a walk along Mall Road.
  • Visit Rang Mahal, home to the Himachal Emporium and local handicrafts.

Day 03 :
Dalhousie – Full-Day Excursion to Khajjiar & More

After breakfast, head out for a full day of sightseeing around Dalhousie:

  • Khajjiar (Mini Switzerland of India): A picturesque meadow surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests with the Himalayas in the background. Enjoy optional horse riding and photography here.
  • Dainkund Peak (Singing Hill): Offers stunning panoramic views of valleys and three rivers – Chenab, Ravi, and Beas.
  • St. John’s Church: The oldest church in Dalhousie with beautiful stained-glass windows donated by Lady Elgin.

Day 04 :
Dalhousie to Amritsar – Wagah Border & Heritage Tour (220 km / approx. 5 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Amritsar, the cultural capital of Punjab.

On Arrival, Visit:

  • Wagah Border: Witness the patriotic and energetic ‘Beating Retreat’ ceremony at the Indo-Pak border.
  • Jallianwala Bagh: A poignant memorial of the 1919 massacre. Bullet-marked walls and plaques bring history to life.

  • Gobindgarh Fort: A historic fort tracing its legacy through the Bhangi Misl, Maharaja Ranjit Singh, and the British era.
    🕒 Timings: 10:00 am – 10:00 pm
    🎆 Don’t miss the Sound & Light Show after sunset.
  • Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib): The spiritual heart of Sikhism, glowing beautifully after sunset. Explore the complex, walk around the Amrit Sarovar, and witness the mesmerizing architecture.

    🙏 Optional: Participate in Langar Seva or enjoy Langar Prasad in the morning.

Day 05 :
Departure from Amritsar

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Amritsar Airport / Railway Station for your return journey.
