Day 01 :
Arrival in Amritsar – Witness the Spirit of Punjab

Arrive at Amritsar Airport, where our representative will greet you and assist with the hotel transfer. Amritsar, founded in 1577, is home to the Golden Temple, the spiritual heart of Sikhism. After check-in and freshening up, proceed to the Attari-Wagah Border (31 km) to witness the electrifying Beating Retreat Ceremony – a proud patriotic ritual performed before sunset.

In the evening, explore local markets and indulge in Amritsari delicacies.

Day 02 :
Explore Amritsar – History, Heritage & Devotion

After breakfast, embark on a guided city tour:

  • Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib): Admire the stunning gold and marble architecture, surrounded by the serene Amrit Sarovar.
  • Akal Takht: The highest seat of temporal authority for Sikhs, located within the Golden Temple complex.
  • Jallianwala Bagh: A solemn memorial of the 1919 massacre, featuring bullet-marked walls and historical plaques.
  • Ram Bagh Palace Museum: Once Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s summer residence, showcasing arms, paintings, and manuscripts.
  • Gobindgarh Fort: A symbol of Punjab’s resilience with a 250+ year legacy, from Maharajas to the Indian Army.

Return to your hotel by evening.

Day 03 :
Amritsar to Dalhousie (Approx. 200 km / 5 hrs)

Enjoy breakfast, check out, and drive to the scenic hill station of Dalhousie.

On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Later, visit Rang Mahal, home to the Himachal Emporium showcasing local crafts and textiles. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the Mall Road in the evening.

Day 04 :
Dalhousie – Full-Day Excursion to Khajjiar & More

After breakfast, set out for a full-day sightseeing tour:

  • Khajjiar (Mini Switzerland of India): A breathtaking meadow surrounded by deodar forests, ideal for photography and optional horse riding.
  • Dainkund Peak (Singing Hill): Offers panoramic views of the valleys and rivers – Chenab, Ravi, and Beas.
  • St. John’s Church: The oldest church in Dalhousie, adorned with beautiful stained-glass windows gifted by Lady Elgin.

Evening at leisure for shopping or strolling along Mall Road.

Day 05 :
Departure – Back to Home with Cherished Memories

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to the nearest airport/railway station for your return journey.
