Itinerary
Welcome to Srinagar! Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your Hotel/Houseboat. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax and soak in the serene surroundings of this beautiful city.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Sonmarg, the "Meadow of Gold", nestled at 2,690 meters above sea level. En route, enjoy stunning views of the Sindh Valley. Explore Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains throughout the year. Surrounded by majestic peaks and alpine forests, Sonmarg is a haven for nature lovers and trekkers. Return to Srinagar in the late afternoon.
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, the "Meadow of Flowers", located at 8,800 feet above sea level. A picturesque retreat, Gulmarg is known for its breathtaking landscapes, colonial charm, and the highest 18-hole golf course in the world. In winter, it transforms into a popular ski resort. On arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Today is free to explore Gulmarg at your own pace. Optional activities (at own cost) include the famous Gondola Ride – Asia's highest and longest cable car. The two-stage ride takes you from Gulmarg to Kongdoori Station, and then to Apharwat Peak at 3,747 meters. You can also enjoy a pony ride, take a scenic walk, or visit Khilanmarg, a colorful valley nearby. Weather conditions may affect Gondola operations.
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, the "Valley of Shepherds". On the way, stop at Pampore to see the saffron fields, and visit a cricket bat factory and apple orchards. On arrival in Pahalgam, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, you may opt for a pony ride to Baisaran Valley (additional cost) – a lush green meadow ideal for trekkers heading toward Tulian Lake.
After breakfast, visit the scenic Aru Valley, known for its peaceful charm and as a base for treks to the Kolahoi Glacier. Continue to Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood film Betaab, and finally to Chandanwari, the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra. Return to Pahalgam and enjoy free time for shopping or relaxing along the charming Pahalgam Mall Road.
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar. Upon arrival, enjoy a local sightseeing tour including:
- Shankaracharya Temple
- Mughal Gardens – Nishat Bagh ("Garden of Pleasure") & Shalimar Bagh ("Garden of Love")
- Chashme Shahi ("Royal Spring")
- Hazratbal Mosque
In the evening, experience a Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Glide past floating gardens, lotus blooms, and charming canals. Visit handicraft centers specializing in papier-mâché and wood carving. Overnight stay in a houseboat.
Enjoy a leisurely morning before we transfer you to Srinagar Airport for your flight back home. Depart with unforgettable memories of your Kashmir journey.
