Arrive at Leh Airport (3,500 m above sea level), where our representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel.
Enjoy a welcome lunch at the hotel.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize to the high altitude.
Overnight stay: Hotel in Leh
After an early breakfast, set off for a full-day monastery tour:
- Shey Palace – Former summer residence of Ladakhi kings with a 36-ft tall copper-gilded Buddha statue.
- Thiksey Monastery – A majestic 12-storey complex perched on a hilltop, offering sweeping valley views.
- Hemis Monastery – The wealthiest and largest monastery in Ladakh, belonging to the Red Sect; renowned for its annual festival.
Return to Leh in the evening.

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to:
- Stok Palace & Museum – Home to an impressive collection of royal artifacts and thangkas.
- Leh Palace – An eight-storey historic marvel resembling Lhasa’s Potala Palace, offering panoramic views of the town.
- Shanti Stupa – A peaceful white-domed stupa offering sunset views and spiritual serenity.
In the afternoon, explore the Leh Market, filled with local artisans, colorful jewelry, and traditional Ladakhi goods.
Dinner & Overnight stay: Hotel in Leh
After breakfast, take a breathtaking drive to Khardung-La Pass (5,600 m), officially recognized as the highest motorable road in the world.
Enjoy the incredible views of the snow-clad Himalayas and capture memorable photos.
Return to Leh in the afternoon. Spend your evening shopping or exploring nearby attractions.
